Barntown Squash Club proudly announces the grand opening of its new squash court. The addition is part of a 2 phased expansion plan for the community center with this new addition being the second element in the first phase. Phase one introduced a number of new facilities to the community center including male and female changing rooms, a new reception and the new squash court.
The club will host a grand opening in celebration of this on the 3rd of May at the Barntown Community center. Where a community BBQ, Bouncy castle and games and challenges will be hosted. And later a drinks reception is planned for Mary Joe’s Pub. The celebrations will begin at 12 noon on Saturday, May 3rd. So bring your family and friends along for a great day out as you join us as we celebrate this remarkable achievement for the club.
The club will also launch its new initiative to grow its members amongst younger age groups. Aiming for the launch of its summer club to encourage the future of the club to join up.
This event marks a major milestone for a club with a big future, speaking chairman Jim Roche said “ It’s really great that this was possible and it fosters a bright future for the club”.
